FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will I receive the same product that I see in the picture?

Yes, you will. However packaging and colour may vary depending on your chosen item.

Can I return an item?

Yes you can. However, rackets can only be returned if they are in their original shipped condition. If they are played with or strung, then NO. You will be liable for the associated shipping cost.

Will you restock items indicated as “out of stock?”

Yes, if it is available from the national suppliers of that product.

Where can I ship my order?

Currently anywhere in South Africa that is offered by the major courier companies.

How long does it take to string my racket?

Stringing a racket takes about 20min. If you are stringing by appointment, that is the time it will take. General stringing will depend on availability of stock.

Do you offer single sets or only reels?

We offer reels and cut sets. Our single sets are generally shipped as prepared cut sets. In other words they are spooled from a reel and cut to length (12m), and packaged in a light weight zip bag. We do this to save you spending money on packaging that just gets ripped part, as well as weight ands space for the tournament player who is traveling.

Do you offer urgent or overnight stringing?

Yes we do. This is offered as a specialist service and is only available by appointment. Costs are arranged directly with the client depending on their needs. This is only available in the Cape Town area.

Are rackets guarenteed?

Simply put NO. Due to the materials and processes used in the construction of a racket, and the nature of the sport (soft frames surrounded by hard and pointy surfaces such as walls, posts, court surface, glass panels in squash, net cables, fence poles) it is not possible to guarantee them. We do however offer services to repair rackets, so we will be happy to quote you on getting them repaired.

What rackets do you string?

We currently string tennis and squash.

Do you offer Padel bats?

Yes we do. Head on over to our store page to have a look at our range.

What courier do you use?

We use The courier guy / Pudo lockers.

What payment methods do you offer?

We accept Master and Visa credit cards via the Yoco gateway.

All rackets, bats and strings do not carry any guarentee.

All items must be paid for in full before they will be shipped.

Rackets strung after hours or urgent/last minute may be liable to an extra charge.

NO personal info entered on this site is given to 3rd parties and is used solely for internal use by Racket Shack.
